On to 1st Grade!

I know it is cliche to say it...but wasn't it just yesterday!! It's true, my babies are now 1st graders. Ian couldn't care less about school, although he thrives there, his Teacher tells me he is making great strides. Eva and I however were totally excited for August 31st to roll around...for different reasons of course. Eva couldn't sleep the night before..needless to say, Monday morning...not so much fun.
All Ian knew was someone woke him up way to early! He had no desire to have his photo taken...hmmmm wonder where he gets that from???
But Eva's bus came...and then he couldn't stop watching for his own to come....please..please...please.....Eva insisted on "happier" pictures on Day 2...she is much like her Mother..although I don't always admit it, we stress and anticipate the unknown...much happier when we know what to expect!
So all is well in the Willis household. Life is back to having a routine! Eva loves her teacher and is excited to learn! Ian is growing and developing daily...too smart for me :0), and well myself...I am enjoying the six hours a day to myself! All I can say....the school bus is my friend!
