Today is special day for the Snow family. 50 years ago today my parents were married. My parents have always been an incredible example for me. I call them "Mary Poppins Parents"....for they are practically perfect in every way. Now, I may look at them through rose colored glasses, but I do know that they aren't perfect. But they are a standard to strive for. They are supportive, loving, and kind to one another. They laugh, tease and cry with each other. I know they have had their share of heartache over the years, much coming from their six children, but they have held their heads high through it all. My Father wore many hats, Senator, Professor, Educator, and so on. My mother, she donned less hats, thank heavens, and was the one constant in her six children's lives, always there, always calm, and forever loving. We are truly blessed as children to have these two loving people as our parents. I know that they haven't always approved of our choices, we've made mistakes, they probably would say they have too. But we know they are always there, no matter how old we get, or where we move off to, they are, continually will be our loving sweet parents.Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad...50 years a wonderful example. Thanks for being you...with much love and respect.....your daughter!

That really is a true accomplishment & I love how happy they still are. They've set quite an example, I'm sure.
