Truly from Scratch!

I had a wonderful experience today!! Thanks to a sweet sister in my ward (Yes the Relief Society is my MOM!!), I was able to make my first batch of homemade applesauce. What was really exciting for me, was that the apples came from the apple tree Ron planted in our yard a few years back. It was great fun, peeling and paring and smashing! I will have to admit the greatest part was the wonderful conversation I had with the sweet couple showing me the ropes!! They were way too much fun! The dear husband peeled most of the apples for me!! I truly enjoy learning from those who have more experience and are willing to share. Today I learned much more that making and bottling apple sauce... I learned about life!! Thank you, and we here at the Willises can't wait to enjoy!!
