About a month ago I signed up Eva and Ian for swimming lessons. Those of you who know Ian know he LOVES the water...and he has no fear!! I was truly blessed to have one of the most fabulous teachers ever..another tender mercy given me. Anywho...last week Ian proved, well, he can swim.
Their sweet teacher took them to the deep end to a little "jumping in". Eva had been begging...oh please...please...for the opportunity to jump off the diving board. The sweet teacher gave in...I NEVER do that :) She watched out of the corner of her eye as Ian headed up the steps to the bleachers toward where I sat watching, and turned to swim out to the middle where she would meet the Jumping Eva.. Before you could blink, Ian had turned around, ran at full speed and jumped off the side into the deep end. We all watched....and ran... Well believe it or not, the little one put his head up and tread water. We managed to grab him quick! His poor teacher caught a glimpse and swam full speed to us, but slow speed to her, to his aide! I think she was more traumatized then Ian.. He was just happy and giggly! I suppose some may say he has a guardian angel.. I think he just wanted to show he could do it...and well he did. However, we are keeping a better EYE on him now!!! Live and learn...which I do from Ian every day!

You can sure see Ian loves swimming from the smile on his face! Funny post- I think it is both a guardian angel and Ian wanting to show he could do it! He was probably wondering what all the fuss was about since he knew he would be okay!
That's my boy!
Ian, you Rock!
