I loaded up the chilln's and a couple of neighbor girls and made the 13 hour drive to see the family in Utah. We were hoping for a bit of warmer weather, but no such luck! We were treated to a week of cold and snow. Isn't is April? I have finally made the realization that driving that long...and somewhat boring drive is like giving birth. It is painful while you are doing it, but you soon forget, and before you know it, you are doing it again! I LOVE seeing and spending time with my family. I have the greatest! Thanks to all that invited me to hang and for great pizza dinners! Thanks as well to my incredible nieces and nephews who, no matter how old they get, still get out the train sets and get down and play with my kids. We all love you! We had a great time, which made that drive all worth it!! Now that we are back home and settled in our routine, we are gearing up for our next adventure! Our trip to Washington DC to see my oldest brother!! We're flying this time :)

I noticed you were gone and you were missed! Paul was down there last week too and told me about the snow! I like your analogy about childbirth and long road trips to see family- so true! You make me laugh!
