I have been a bit of a slacker on updating our blog...I guess I was taking a mental vacation..like that is something new for me eh? Anywhoo...I have completed, for this year, our Stake YW camp. Looking back on it, I suppose I would say it was a success. Even if we only helped one YW strengthen her testimony, then we succeeded. I will say, that the "task" set before me of Stake Camp Director, was probably one of the hardest things I have taken on...outside of motherhood, yet true to form, a rewarding one. I KNOW that this camp was supposed to happen, for many doors were opened, and I enjoyed many tender mercies! Those of you who know me, know I do not do well on lack of sleep...however, for some reason I seem to endure during camp. I give credit to the blessing Ron gives me each time before I leave. We only had minor incidents to deal with, but as I say, you can plan for everything...except the relationships :0)
I only wish I had more time there to take photos to document the fun...I only have this one of the Bishopric when the camp up for Bishops night...and of course I have to post it!!! Thanks to all of you who assisted me in this work...and especially for the love and support of my family...I truly couldn't have done it without you!!
Now I am taking a 6 month "camp" vacation...well I hope to anyhow!
