I had decided awhile ago, that after camp, I was going to need a vacation. Not that you can really have a vacation when you have your 6 year olds in tow :)....but we tried. I loaded up the children and bikes and made the pilgrimage to the promised land. We stayed with my sister this go around...Eva loved reading books with her!!
We went to seven peaks water park...was fun until we lost Ian..found him at the top of the tallest water slide. The kid is stealth. He had four adults watching him and still managed to take off...someone was watching over him...Thanks Grandma Wanda :0) We went on bike rides, Eva loved playing with Syd the new puppy, we saw old friends, and had fun with relatives. Jeanmarie's great neighbors even took my kids on a pony ride. They loved it!
We even managed to squeeze in a visit to the Oqurriah Mountian Temple open house. It was hot and Ian had a hard time waiting in line..but once in side he was a angel...again someone watching out!
We have been home for a few weeks...and I am now just coming back to normal after a whirlwind July. I leave tomorrow for DC to attend my sweet nephews wedding...then only 6 more days till school, but who's counting. I have already planned my party for August 31st...I gotta say the School bus is my friend!
