From One Washington to the Other....

Last week I ventured back east to the other Washington. The purpose to attend my sweet nephews beautiful wedding, and his brothers missionary farewell. It was fun to be with family and to be apart of all the festivities. My brother and his wife are the greatest and a whole lotta fun. Ron stayed back and held down the fort...which included working on "potty training" Ian...which I must say he did quite well. I am so blessed to have such a supportive husband. I managed to get some sightseeing in as well. So much to see there and to enjoy! It was truly a wonderful experience...if you don't count getting lost and ending up in Virgina! It has been a whirlwind summer, and it was a fabulous way to "top" it off.

Arlington National Cemetery...we went to the changing of the Guard and the tomb of the unknown Solider..very sobering!

My Mother and I in front of Ford's Theater, where President Lincoln was shot. Very interesting.

A view from Lincoln Memorial down the mall at night. I never get tired of visiting the memorials!

The true reason I went to DC....to be apart of their big day. Christopher and Lauren Snow...love to you both!
